Feature Film ADMISSION, based on the novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, is seeking YOUNG TWINS, both boys and girls, 0-7 years old, who can portray Indian, Middle Eastern, and Hispanic, for potential work on June 26, 2012. Central Casting New York is casting the background TWINS for Universal Pictures’ new comedy starring the dream team of Tina Fey, Michael Sheen and Paul Rudd.
Paul Weitz (Little Fockers, About a Boy) is directing this comedy about a single, Ivy League University Admissions Counselor (Tina Fey) who falls into a romance with an old college buddy (Paul Rudd), while also in a relationship with her uptight, British boyfriend (Michael Sheen). The book description (online at Amazon) reads:
For years, 38-year-old Portia Nathan has avoided the past, hiding behind her busy (and sometimes punishing) career as a Princeton University admissions officer and her dependable domestic life. Her reluctance to confront the truth is suddenly overwhelmed by the resurfacing of a life-altering decision, and Portia is faced with an extraordinary test. Just as thousands of the nation’s brightest students await her decision regarding their academic admission, so too must Portia decide whether to make her own ultimate admission.
ADMISSION tentatively shoots June 26, 2012, in and around NYC. All talent must have a valid work permit and trust account. Seeking union and nonunion submissions.
