In a recent interview about her role as Carrie in the remake of the classic Stephen King horror film, Chloe Moretz, 16, said she didn’t base her character on how it was portrayed by Sissy Spacek (the original Carrie actress), but more closely on the character from the novel.  Since I’ve seen the original film I couldn’t help thinking that Chloe resembled a young Spacek on the red carpet of the Oct. 7, 2013, L.A. premiere of the long-awaited remake.

Chloe stunned in green lace Valentino gown, and swept her blonde locks to the side in a lose ponytail. Her angelic make-up complemented the soft and bohemian style of her dress. Chloe chose a feminine pink dress by Dolce & Gabbana a few days earlier to help celebrate her movie-mom Julianne Moore receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With bold red Jimmy Choo shoes to complete the look, it’s no surprise that InStyle.com chose picked her as a “Look of the Day.”

Carrie hits the theaters this Friday, October 18th.
