Get new headshots. In the candid picture (picture #2) she looks like a 12 year old in the first picture she does not. If I were casting for a teen sitcom and saw her headshot I would not call her in. If I were casting for Melrose Place and wanted a cute girl next door type, I'd call her in then see her and send her home (she's 12, I can't pop her in a sultry sex scene now can I?). GET NEW HEADSHOTS THAT LOOK LIKE HER NOT LIKE SOMETHING YOU THINK IS ATTRACTIVE.

Good article! It's awesome that you came all the way from Texas for New York Actorfest. With thousands of actors attending Actorfest every year and only so many hours in the day, not everyone always gets a chance to audition for their top choice -- so I'm really glad to hear that your daughter was able to audition for Nickelodeon despite the long lines, and that you also had a chance to attend some of the classes/workshops.

And it's the first year that we had the Casting Director /Agent "Meet and Drop" (aka "Meet and Greet") room in NY, so it was interesting to hear your feedback about your experiences there. CD Jennifer Rudolf is great -- it's cool that your daughter got a chance to talk to her :)
