Two very special 8-year-old kids, both patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, are doing something amazing for their moms this Mother’s Day.

Talented Child Actor Max Page and his darling pal Regan Owens, both patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, hope to make this Mother’s Day extra special for kids and their families at the hospital through a special fundraising webpage to  help sick kids get better. Their ambitious goal is to raise $25,000!

CHLA Donation BarometerYou may recall Max (pictured right) from articles we’ve posted about him here on Hollywood Mom Blog – he’s the adorable toe head who played a mini Darth Vader in a popular VW Passat commercial that aired during the 2012 Superbowl.  Max also underwent heart surgery in 2012 for a congenital heart defect.

This is the kids’ way of thanking their own moms for caring for them when they were in the hospital and they’re excited that their efforts will help other children like them—an inspiring example of kids helping kids!

Max, Regan and all the children receiving care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles would love your help in getting the word out about this special Mother’s Day gift. Whether it’s a Facebook post, tweet, pin or blog post, every little push helps. CHLA.org/MothersDay
