Group Shot Ooh La La March 2014

This summer’s upcoming Girl Meets World (GMW) starring Rowan Blanchard is a pretty big deal to those of us who were teen fans of the original television series Boy Meets World. But what’s arguably an even bigger deal, is GMW child star Rowan Blanchard’s charitable efforts, including her most recent hosting duties for Ooh! La La! Couture’s 5th Annual Tutus 4 Tots held on February 1st in Los Angeles.

Ooh! La La! co-owners Ann Dugourd and Jennifer Rotunno coordinated with K.I.D.S. partner agency Volunteers of America Los Angeles to donate more than 300 dresses to girls from families that are now or were recently homeless and being assisted through the Strengthening Families program and the National Head Start Association. To date, the popular celebrity clothing line has donated over $500,000 worth of new dresses to K.I.D.SSteve Madden generously donated backpacks and bags to the event for distribution as well.

Joining Rowan were a bevy of Disney and Nickelodeon child stars: August Maturo (6, Girl Meets World), Skai Jackson (11, Jessie), Francesca Capaldi (10, Dog with a Blog), Mia Talerico (5, Good Luck Charlie), Paris Berelc (15, Mighty Meds), Oana Gregory (18, Crash & Bernstein), McKenna Grace (7, Crash & Bernstein), Landry Bender (13, Crash & Bernstein)Kenton Duty (18, Shake It Up), Joey Bragg (17, Liv and Maddie), Audrey Whitby (17, Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans & AwesomenessTV).

The child and teen stars had a great time picking out the perfect dresses for all the lucky kids attending the event.
