‘Home Improvement” Child Actor Improved his Homelife by Moving Out

Kara Kovalchik at Mental Floss posted an article about 5 former child stars who were the victims of poor parenting and apparent theft of their industry earnings.  Most of the stories I was all ready aware of, but I was surprised to learn about the child who played Tim Allen’s youngest son on HOME IMPROVEMENT, Taran Noah Smith.  Apparently his own family situation was so bad he left home at 17 and married a woman 16 years his senior.
