UPDATE: Less than a month after this was posted, the Bill Cosby Rape Allegations exploded worldwide on the internet, leading to the headlines that Cosby molested former Child Co-Star Raven-Symoné.  This is her adamant response:  http://www.wetpaint.com/celebrity/articles/2014-11-20-raven-symone-slams-disgusting-rumor  In this day and age no matter how one attempts to “stay out of the tabloid headlines,” eventually most celebrities spend some time there, even through no fault of their own.

Former Child Star Raven-Symoné, 28, began her career on “The Cosby Show,” as a toddler and became a household name with her Disney show, “That’s So Raven.” Unlike some child stars, including many of her contemporaries like Lindsay Lohan, Raven-Symoné has stayed out of the tabloid headlines.

The only times I can recall her ever getting excessive press was for her dramatic weight loss, and then later when Raven-Symoné revealed she was gay.

“My parents taught me to keep my private life “private” to the best of my ability,” Raven-Symoné tells Oprah Winfrey. “They showed me all the role models out there that I could turn in to, and

[to think about] what I want for myself in the future.”

And just because we haven’t seen her on screen lately doesn’t mean she’s not busy working.  So what has Raven-Symoné been up to career wise you may ask? A ton of voice over work!  Her IMDB show that five of her past seven shows have been voice over jobs: Pixie Hollow, Secret of the Wings, Pirate Fairy, Pixie Hollow Bake Off, Legend of the Never Beast.

Raven-Symoné’s epsiode of Oprah: Where Are They Now? airs Sunday at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.

She is represented by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
