FIRECRACKER FILMS AND MYSTICART PICTURES are searching for mothers and daughters
who are ready to take an extaordinary, life-changing journey.
OWN is interested in mothers and daughters with strained relationships due to some of moms l
ifestyle choices, and daughter has to take on the role of “parent” at times.

This show will be a new, raw, ground breaking and heart-warming docu-series chronicling
the mother teen relationships that are anything but ordinary.
No relationship is as primal as the one between mother and child.
For most teenagers, looking at mom is like looking at a future reflection of themselves.
OWN-The Oprah Winfrey Network Presents …
Every week, the audience is taken on a genuinely emotional and
fascinating journey inside the mind of a teenager who is
struggling with the decision to follow in her mother’s footsteps or
carve her own path in life. The aim is to make a thought-provoking
and sensitive documentary series which explores a variety of mother-teen
relationships that don’t fit the traditional mold,
told from the perspectives of both mother and child. Some of the stories could
include: *Moms that are shopaholics or have a compulsive spending problem *Moms that have obsessions
with plastic surgery *Moms that are addicted to exercise *Moms that are “cougars” *Moms that are workaholics,
OWN is looking for dynamic moms with extremelifestyle choices and articulate daughters
between 16 and 21 years of age who have adopted the role of being the “Parent.”

Daughters should be between the ages of 16 and 21 and very articulate. We are looking for candidates in
Southern CA, NY, NJ and PA. There will be compensation for those selected.
