About The Looking Ahead Program

Looking Ahead is dedicated to helping young performers between the ages of 9 -18 and their families manage the unique issues associated with working in the entertainment industry. The Actors Fund realizes that working in the performing arts and entertainment community can be both exciting and fun, but that it is not without challenges. With those challenges in mind, they’ve developed services and programs tailored to the special needs of young performers and their families:

  • Events and Group Activities
  • Education Planning
  • Support and counseling for individuals, families, and groups
  • Community Service programs
  • Leadership Development
Looking Ahead, a program of The Actors Fund, was created in 2003 and is made possible by support from the SAG/Producers IACF and the AFTRA ICF. It is counseled by an Advisory Committee of professionals in entertainment, youth development and related fields.
