The Looking Ahead Program is partnering with JADV (Jemba Against Domestic Violence), a nonprofit founded by a Looking Ahead leadership youth Oston Jemba Madengue, that hosts an annual toy drive for families who are victims of domestic violence in several South Central and Central Los Angeles shelters.

The mission is simple: To bring a little joy and happiness to these families during the holiday season through the donation of toys. Toys must be unwrapped, labeled boy or girl, and for what age range. Unwrapped toys can be for any age from 0 to 17 years old.

Check out their wish list here!

When you’re done dropping off your gift, be sure to give a shout out to the Looking Ahead Program on Twitter to let them know!

Toys must be dropped off directly to Looking Ahead offices no later than Wednesday, December 18th, 2013. Office hours are 9:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. For further questions or more information, please contact Laura Campbell, Education Counselor at or 323.933.9244 ext. 436.
