The 24th annual A Time for Heroes will take place at The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF)‘s new location in Century Park, 2000 Avenue of the Stars in West Los Angeles, on Sunday, June 2, 2013. All of the kids’ favorite sports, activities, rides, arts & crafts, restaurants and entertainment will be featured at A Time for Heroes and this year they’re also including hip activity areas specifically for teens! We’ve even heard rumblings that many of your favorite teen and child stars will be in attendance!
This year EGPAF is asking everyone to “Join Us. Inspire Others,” urging families to join Elizabeth Glazer’s heroic fight to save the lives of her children and to become a hero to the mothers and children currently fighting HIV/AIDS worldwide.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). The work Elizabeth and her co-founders, Susie Zeegen and Susan DeLaurentis began in 1988, has resulted in many remarkable milestones including the recent announcement of a Mississippi toddler functionally cured of HIV. With the public’s continued dedication and commitment, EGPAF can reach their dream goal of an AIDS-free generation.
