Child Stars Gather at 6th Annual Thirst Gala at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel and youthful, summer style was in full-force.
Some of the child stars in attendance at last week’s Thirst Gala were of the “former” Disney and Nickelodeon variety, like Bella Thorne, Debbie Ryan, Gregg Sulkin and Jennette McCurdy.
Current Child Stars in attendance were lovely Dove Cameron of Disney’s “Liv and Maddie,” (whom I often confuse with Disney Star Olivia Holt) and Nolan Gross (Terminator Genisys) who looked dapper in a grey linen suit and ice blue button down.
The Thirst Gala is a fundraising event and photograph/multimedia exhibition held annually in Los Angeles. The Thirst Gala educates and engages guests, by connecting them first hand to the people and communities being helped. Throughout the evening, guests are provided with multiple donation options, such as live and silent auctions, text-to-give technology and other opportunities.
The 2015 Thirst Gala filled the stunning Beverly Hilton nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, California. The event attracted an elite group of 600 guests who enjoyed participating in an inspiring, entertaining and life-changing evening that saw over $300,000 raised to give safe, clean drinking water to those who need it most.
The organizations mission is to build a socially-conscious generation of young people who END the global water crisis, by educating students about it and activating them to rock the clean water cause and build real water projects all over the world. Why Water? Health and Sanitation: Waterborne diseases kill more children every single year than AIDS, Malaria, and all world violence combined. Small children typically do not have strong enough immune systems to fight diseases like cholera, dysentery, or schistosomiasis.
