About ShoWorks Upcoming Multi-Camera workshops:
Showorks will debut with a brand new Multi-Camera weekend workshop, to teach and prepare young actors for set. This is not an acting course, but more of an educational training, to ensure young actors learn the skills and terminology used on a professional multi camera set. Using popular shows from Disney and Nickelodeon, the staff will take them through the process from script to screen.
Many talented young actors are focused on delivering their best performance, but are unaware of the inner workings of this specific format.
From table reads to script layouts, camera blocking, stage direction, rehearsals, set terminology and shooting techniques, students will have the essential tools necessary to confidently perform “on the day.” Showorks strives to help save directors, camera coordinators and production much-needed time on set by streamlining the preparation process.
In addition to giving students a clear advantage, Showorks feels that these are invaluable tools to have in your child’s acting toolbox and on your child’s resume, showing casting directors that these actors are properly prepared for a professional multi-camera set.
