THE HUNGER GAMES DVD releases Saturday, August 18, 2012! And to CELEBRATE, HMB is giving away the DVD of  THE HUNGER GAMES to one very lucky HMB family! To enter just add your name in the reply to section below and why YOU should be the winner of this Amazing DVD!

BLOCKBUSTER STORES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WILL GIVE FANS A CHANCE TO CELEBRATE THE RELEASE OF THE WILDLY POPULAR FILM WITH LOCAL FESTIVITIES

What:   Fans who pre-order The Hunger Games DVD at their local Blockbuster through August 15 will receive a free exclusive Hunger Games poster and be invited to attend a special release party at their local stores.

Attendees at the Mission Hills Blockbuster will be treated to a special appearance by KIIS-FM with on-sight prizing, HUNGER GAMES survival food, a screening of the movie in store, trivia contests for prizes, and learn self-defense techniques for the arena.

ABOUT THE FILM

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games.  A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy.  If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

    I think my family should win the DVD. All four of my kids Ian, Asa,Heda, and Collin Patrick have read the whole book series and would love to have DVD to watch over and over again. They absolutely love the story and the characters.

    If I won I would be totally shocked because I’ve never won anything in my life. It’s worth a shot. I think I should have this incredible DVD because I saw it many times in theaters and I want to see it infinite times at home! I would love to have this so I can own it myself! It would be amazing!     My daughter is a huge Hunger Games fan and has read the books several times through. She even played Katniss in a Hunger Games spoof. We’ve been so busy with her charity work I haven’t even had the time to take her to see it. We’d love to be considered for the giveaway and the launch party!

    My and my teen daughter read all the books plus she stood in line at midnight to watch the movie! It would be awesome that we get to watch it over and over again.
