Make It Happens Productions‘ new show On Begley Street introduces a positive role model in reality child star Hayden Begley.
On Begley Street focuses on actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. and his family’s endeavors to create a LEED-certified home together. In the process, Ed’s daughter Hayden, 14, shines as a youth striving to be environmentally correct in every small way she can.
“I am so excited to be my age at a time where so much innovation is taking place,” Hayden tells Hollywood Mom Blog, “I am literally watching the world change and my generation has a unique opportunity to do some real good.”
Ed Begley Jr. says, “I’ve certainly always been interested in what people are against: pollution, hunger, homeless. But, I have a far greater interest in what people are FOR. What positive solution does someone have for those problems, and others? My daughter Hayden is just such a person. She’s never shy about stating the problem, but puts her greatest amount of energy into finding and implementing a solution. She is my young green hero, an eco-evangelist with a plan to earn salvation for us all right here on earth.”
Hayden’s mom Rachelle Carson-Begley tells HMB her daughter embodies all the qualities of an ideal citizen of the planet. “She, like her father, walks her talk and I am in awe.”
On Begley Street executive producer Billy Frank, is equally wowed by young Hayden, telling Hollywood Mom Blog, “It’s so refreshing to make television that focuses on youth in a positive light. Hayden stands out with an integrity and maturity way beyond her years as we watch her walk the green walk in her daily life.”
Viewers will no doubt grow fond of Hayden themselves over the next nine weeks as the episodes unfold on Evox.

On Begley Street is an award-winning Web series that explores the building of North America’s greenest, most sustainable home; following acclaimed actor and noted environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. his wife, Rachelle Carson-Begley, and their daughter Hayden, as the threesome attempt to build their home under LEED Platinum Certified standards.
Each episode explores sustainable living and balancing comfort with consumption. The Begleys’ adventures are often heightened by their numerous and comical mistakes, which often result in playful bickering.
