While there have been plenty of movies out this summer that I have wanted to see, the one that is getting the most buzz in my house is Disney’s Planes. Among all the Barbie and princess movies, my girls love their planes, trains and automobiles. The Pixar flick opened in theaters on Friday, August 9th, but stars came out on August 5th for the Hollywood premiere at the El Capitan Theater. After seeing all the fashion, my daughters might want to dress up for their own premiere at the movie.
Taylor Spreitier, the 19-year old star of Melissa & Joey, simply glowed in a Misguided dress and Lulu Guiness clutch. If you look close enough, you’ll notice that her L.A.M.B. “Jocelyn” pumps are actually cork with a hot pink heel. Love!
Peyton List, 15, (Jessie) rocked out the premiere in a royal blue Parker top and AllSaints leather mini finished off with metallic silver strappy heels .
Bella Thorne, 15 (Shake it Up) wore a Bluemarine dress with apple green Biondi Castana shoes (shoe rule #1: you never have to match your shoes to your dress. Find a touch of the color in your print or go with something on the opposite side of the color wheel). I love her style, and look forward to seeing how it evolves as she gets older.
This past weekend, Bella was also the hostess with the mostess at the Teen Vogue Back to School Kick Off Party at The Grove in Los Angeles. She looked retro fab in DVF and a bouffant ponytail. Is she starting a new trend?
