It’s been a super summer so far with so many of our teens and children showing up on television, in film, DVDs, new media, commercials and print! MOVIES
Congratulations to HM Jamie King and top teen star, daughter Joey King and HM & Facebook co-admin Valerie Sullivan and her son, talented teen actor Cody Sullivan, on Zack Braff’s indy hit film, “Wish I Was Here” which opened last weekend to rave reviews. You can also catch HMB kid Ally Carlson in the science classroom scene!

And speaking of the Carlson family, more congrats to HM Laura and HD Trevor Carlson on their other daughter Emily Carlson‘s comedic turn as spelling bee contestant Joyce Sacks in the dark comedy “Bad Words” which is now available on DVD!

Hollywood Mom Dayna DeVincenzo Wilson shared that daughter Keely (pictured below) was cast as the lead in an independent film, “The Muse.” 
A Woot Woot for Hollywood Mom Danielle DeGrande Roberts and her son Logan Sean Roberts who stars in the Sci-Fi movie “The Wind Is Watching” in limited release Aug 22!
HM Sherri Carlson’s daughter Mandalynn plays Summer Dean in the newly released film, “A Horse for Summer,” starring Dean Cain.
Congrats to my own child actor Jordan Bobbitt (in the pink tee below) who plays Young Mya in the love story, “The Next Dance” which is scheduled for direct-to-video release in Walmart Store nationwide September 1!

HD David shared that his son, model Sam Evans, just filmed the new Macy’s “Back to School” commercials which will start airing on Aug 3rd on Fox and the WB networks in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam! Congrats to Hollywood Mom Melinda Gordon and her daughter Valentina on a darling commercial for Plum Organics and Hollywood Mom Jessica Castillo and her daughter Kalea who also shot a great Plum Organics commercial! And props to Child Actor Tanner Fontana and his mom Yvonne – Tanner’s Kohl’s commercial is now airing!
