Parents of Child Actors, singers and dancers need to head on over to San Antonio on July 27 or 28, when Disney Channel and Disney XD will hold an open call for talented kids ages 10 to 17 as part of their nationwide talent search!

Texas has been well represented on the Disney Channel, with stars such as Demi Lovato, Debby Ryan, Jennifer Stone and Mitchel Musso all coming from North Texas.

Auditions will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 27 for youths with last names beginning with A through M, and the same times on July 28 for those with last names beginning with N through Z. Auditions will take place at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, 101 Bowie St. in downtown San Antonio. Parking will not be available at the hotel, but there are several parking facilities nearby.

An application and monologue will be provided upon arrival, and minors — in other words, everyone in the audition age range — must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, see notice below or go here.
