I’m busy watching ABC’s Modern Family on Wednesday nights (and laughing until I cry) while the other half of the TV-watching population (the younger half) is glued to their HD flat screens watching Glee on FOX, the high school musical comedy take-off that has just received renewal for a second season. But that’s old news. The hot-off-the-presses news, as I tweeted a few days back, is that Glee will be adding 3 lucky new cast members. Who you ask?  Believe it or not – it might be YOU!

According to FOX, Glee will be holding a nationwide Casting Call via internet video submissions to audition fans of the show who have what it takes to be Glee cast members. You do not need to be a professional to enter – all entries are welcome! The 3 winners will be part of a multi-episode special in Fall 2010. “Auditions will be open to amateur individuals as well as professionals between the ages of 16-26, and all hopefuls will be able to submit auditions online. Additional details will be announced soon [via]fox.com/glee.”

Executive producer & show creator Ryan Murphy says, “Anybody and everybody now has a chance to be on a show about talented underdogs. No matter who you are, a Broadway talent or a struggling singing waiter with a dream in the Midwest, you now have an opportunity to make that dream come true by posting your talent video and showing us what you can do. ALL the roles will be chosen from the video audition process, which is exciting and unprecedented. We want to be the first interactive musical comedy on television, and the search is ON.”  So if you think you have what it takes to make it – fine tune start fine your funniest material & your best vocals and submit, submit, submit!
