Filmed almost entirely on location in Thailand, The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone aims to entertain both kids and parents alike with themes of friendship, teamwork and good conquering evil, while ultimately teaching kids their tremendous value. The film was written, directed and produced by bestselling author Bill Muir (The Crossing, Invisible Enemies) based on his series of fictional novels of the same name. A brand new version of the novel, co-written by New York Times bestselling author Alex Kendrick, is slated to hit shelves in conjunction with the 2013 theatrical release. Read sample chapters here!

The journey of The Lost Medallion begins as Daniel Anderson (Kendrick) visits a foster home to drop off a donation and is quickly roped into telling the kids a story. Daniel tells the tale of Billy Stone, played by Billy Unger (Lab Ratson Disney XD, American Treasure, You Again) and Allie played by Sammi Hanratty (American Girl: A Christmas Carol) 13-year old friends who discover an ancient medallion and unintentionally transport themselves to a mystical island, back in time. In order for Billy to save Allie’s life, he must forfeit the medallion to the island’s ruler. To win back the medallion and save the island people from slavery, Billie and Allie must work together with a young, arrogant king (Jansen Panettiere younger brother of Hayden Panettiere), the king’s sidekick (William Corkery), and a wise old island man (James Hong), who guides their way. Together, this unlikely crew will not only learn to work together, but learn that when they do, great things can be accomplished.
