Vicky Boone Casting is conducting a state-wide search in Texas for young African-American males, 6-8 years old, with great imaginations and natural wit for a lead role in “Sweet Cheeks,” an upcoming feature film shooting in the Austin, TX area in August 2013.

An open casting call for the role of Tyson will be held in Smithville, at the Smithville City Hall, on June 21, from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Kids will be seen in the order they arrive. The audition will consist of a short interview with a member of the casting team and possibly a short on-camera interview with the casting director.

The film is directed by award-winning filmmaker Todd Rohal, who also directed “Nature Calls” starring Johnny Knoxville and Patton Oswalt.

Production is looking for extroverted, funny kids who are full of ideas, comfortable around new people and environments, and who like hearing, telling or creating stories. Kids with interesting faces and timeless looks are especially encouraged to submit. Though no acting experience is necessary, kids will be paid on the scale of professional actors.
