Merry Christmas Hollywood Moms, Dads & Kids!
Thank you for another wonderful year at Hollywood Mom Blog – so many of our kids are working in film, television & commercials, so many wonderful HMB events (Disney Acting Worshops, Rose Parade, Screenings, Premieres) so much sharing, support and community in our Facebook chat groups – we are a very lucky bunch!
Thank you to all the parents of child actors who help to make this the best blog for our community and who give of themselves to help with the administrative side of the chat groups & our activities! My sincere thanks especially to Lisa Pitts, Valerie Sullivan, Suzette Troche Stapp, Dave Desmond and Hilary Morris – Merry Christmas to you all.
Thanks also to the amazing Actors Fund and the Looking Ahead Program who generously support our child actors and actors’ families in more ways that I could possibly mention here. I’m priveleged to serve on their advisory committee.
Lastly a huge thank you also to Disney, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers and The Weinstein Company and their amazing publicists for providing us with so many unique giveaways, screenings and premieres.
Happy Holidays Everyone. I’m honored to take this journey with you all!
xo,
Tracy
I live out of state but very much want to relocate to that area. I have tried a few options and thought perhaps you might have some suggestions. I am older, have subbed in the local school district, have passed the requirement of background check and fingerprinting but willing to submit to any other necessary requirements that a family might have. I can imagine in the movie industry of established stars, stars that are getting there own children into the industry or even perhaps a family that is getting a child into such that they are in need of help. I want to see if relocation is right for me and also a future employer. I have in home in Missouri but not ready to sell that and would need to have a place where I might live in. For years took children to band, sports, choir activities and could be of service to the right family. I can’t make a trip there unless there is the possibility of a potential interest. I am drug free, non drinker, pet friendly, and organization is a plus. I feel that serving as an assistant, in driving to and from for activities, errands, confidentiality in the case of high profile employer, excellent communication skills both phone and in person. Driving record is excellent. Would accept a short term assignment to prove myself to others and also to myself if this is something that would be long term. I don’t start a job or project with the idea that if I don’t like it, I can quit. Not my way of doing things. I hope that perhaps you might know of someone that might be looking for someone such as described. I have a facebook page and willing to make that viewable to an interested party. I am covered under my own insurance, have some monthly income but desire a change and supplement my income. Will be glad to send my cell number also, if you desire. Thanks for your time in giving this some consideration. Sincerely, Elaine Castor
