This is your child’s opportunity to attend an exclusive, 6 week Course at The Mentor Institute, a full service acting, voiceover, screenwriting, and production studio, located at 11543 W. Olympic Blvd. 2nd floor, Los Angeles 90064 helmed by the talented working actress, Cindy Pickett.
For a limited time, esteemed Actress Cindy Pickett, who began her career in the 70’s with soap operas (CBS “The Guiding Light”, etc.), televisions shows (“Call To Glory”, CSI Miami, NYPD Blue), miniseries (“Amerika”), and movies (“Deep Star Six”, “Sleepwalkers”, etc.), will be teaching child actors at The Mentor Institute. She has worked alongside talented actors Matthew Broderick, Juliette Lewis, Peter Fonda, and Denzel Washington, among others.
Cindy’s course at The Mentor Institute is geared toward kids and teens; focusing on building self-confidence, testing the waters of acting, as well as building community. Sessions are focused on encouraging kids to be proud and confident in their unique selves. Cindy helps young actors achieve confidence through warm-up exercises, improvisation, focus and relaxation techniques, mock auditions, energy and originality games, and by training young actors how to be honest with their emotions.

The next class is Saturday, March 10 for ages 8:00-10:00 a.m.; Saturday afternoon for ages 11:00-1:00 p.m. and on Wednesday afternoons for ages 15-18 years.
