Casting Girls and their ‘American Girl’ Dolls (not affiliated with Mattel)

Ilona Szwarc (NYC based artist/photographer) is seeking girls for “American Girls,” a photo project. The project will consist of photographs and a feature length documentary and will end with a several gallery/museum exhibitions and a book release.

 Photographer states: “This project has already been published by numerous publications worldwide, including The New York Times, MSNBC, and the Telegraph. It is a work in progress and the photographer wants to include girls from the Los Angeles are before the project is complete.”  Shoots between August 9 and September 6, 2012 in Los Angeles. Specific dates and locations will be determined based on each subject’s availability after initial casting.

Seeking— Girls: 6-17, all ethnicities and backgrounds, must own an American Girl Doll, all levels of acting and modeling welcome.

Must be in Los Angeles area.
