It’s the time of year when all of our thoughts turn to back-to-school. If you’re like so many other parents still searching for a viable education option for your working child actor, Inspire Charter Schools offers independent study in a blended learning environment to all kindergarten through 12th grade students residing in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Kern, and Ventura Counties. Students can attend school virtually from the safety and comfort of their own homes, and it’s tuition-free!

The school’s K-8th program encompasses the choice between two learning platforms: The award winning K12 curriculum option delivers face-to-face, small group sessions with the teacher as well as project-based learning with rich, challenging, and engaging self-paced content. Inspire’s other K-8th option is Compass Learning Odyssey, which is 100% web-based.

For the High School curriculum, Inspire Charter’s teachers lead students through the APEX Courses. All APEX courses are fully accredited. Additionally, APEX Learning offers the most University of California Office of the President (UCOP) certified standards-based “A-G” courses of any on-line publisher. APEX has the highest approvals through science wet labs that Inspire Charter Schools accomplishes through two in-person science days per semester.

All Inspire curricula are aligned to the Common Core State Standards to ensure all students are prepared for college, career, and the challenges of the 21st Century. Enrichment activities include art, music, clubs, fieldtrips, gatherings, and in-person parent/student workshops.

Inspire offers $1000 allowance per student for additional materials or even if families want to purchase a laptop to complete their academics on the set. Families also get academic support of a California credentialed teacher who truly cares about their student’s education. This program allows a lot of flexibility to match the needs and demands of a child actor.

  • A student is not just a statistic. He or she is a flesh-and-blood human being with feelings and emotions like us.
  • A student is one who comes to us with needs and/or wants. It is our job to fill them.
  • A student is deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment that we can provide.
