Kids Casting Network provides babies and youth as background players in movies and television.  Because well-respected companies like Central Casting, Rich King Casting and Casting Associates don’t specialize in minors, they rely on Kids Casting Network to fulfill their calls for babies and kids.  Currently  Kids Casting Network is booking talent for “Brothers and Sisters,” but the shows they book and their casting needs vary weekly.

And now here’s your chance to get in on the action!  On February 15 & 16, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,  Kids Casting Network will hold an OPEN CALL REGISTRATION for new background talent!  They will be meeting those with the last names : A through I from 10am-12pm; last name : J through R (12pm-2pm); and last name : S through Z (2pm-4pm).  Please bring :

1. Complete an application on www.kidscastingnetwork.com under the “REGISTRATION” category.

2. Bring Work Permit & Coogan Account Information (or copies)

3. Bring Birth Certificate and Social Security Card or copies of these documents.

4. Photos: KCN will take photo if child is present, but you can also provide your own current photos as well. KCN’s system can hold up to 4 photos. You can email photos to kidscastingnetwork@gmail.com.

If you do not have all the items above at registration, Kids Casting Netowrk will provide the applications and/or information needed to obtain missing documents and forms.

Your child can be present at the open call registration however there could be a wait up to 1 hour. If your child is not present, bring or email current photo for KCN to keep on file.

KIDS CASTING NETWORK is located at 146 N. San Fernando Blvd. #211, Burbank, CA 91502, on 2nd floor of the building next to the Boba Loca. There is no elevator so please, no strollers!

If for some reason you cannot make the OPEN CALL. Kids Casting Network takes appointments Monday through Friday from 11am-4pm. To schedule an appointment call (818)859-1772. Please note that there is a Registration / Photo Fee for Non Union of $20.00 (one time fee) and all Union (SAG or AFTRA) talent that is current with dues can sign up for FREE by showing their card.  Commission to Kids Casting Network is 20% per job, per day.  Please call (818) 579-7712 to confirm your attendance.
