OPEN CALL AUDITIONS IN NEW YORK CITY, JULY 9 – 14


CURRENTLY SEEKING:

JACK KELLY STANDBY: Male, 17 – 22 years old, Caucasian. Handsome, passionate and charismatic leader of the Newsies. A street-smart kid with a dark artistic soul right beneath the bluster.  Not a blowhard.  This kid’s the real thing.  Must have a great pop tenor voice.

LES:males 10-12 who sing and act for the role of Les. (Non-­‐Equity will be seen if time permits) Monday, July 9th, 2012 at 10:00 am to 6:00 pm or Tuesday July 10th, 2012, 1:00pm to 6:00 pm at Ripley-­‐Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave, 16th NYCNEWSIES:Male, 16 – 22 years old, any and all ethnicities.  To cover the on-stage ensemble Newsie boys (i.e. Race, Specs, Spot Conlon, etc.).  Open to all sizes, types, personalities and ethnicities.  Must be true triple threats: very strong dancers who sing very well and have acting ability.AUDITION INFORMATIONMALES
