My son went to the Miami audition, was selected for a call back and given an orange paper, he went back Sunday and they taped his audition. They did not give any other type of information for call back. What is the average time for a call back?

so if they are in LA, will the expenses be our responsibility?

It’s VERY likely they will have auditions in Los Angeles. Keep checking in for updates & we’ll post as we receive them. ;)

I’m surprised they didn’t mention the “time line” for callbacks at the auditions. I wasn’t in attendance so I don’t know their schedule.

Do you know how long after a casting call do we get call backs if chosen. Also, do you happen to know where will the call backs have to go to?

I went to the open casting call today in Miami! I had a great time it was extremely fun. Thousands of kids were there! If you plan on being seen you have to go early.Check in started at nine a.m, but i wuz out there from 6:30a.m and as a result i got # 214 and got my audition done at 11a.m and even got 2 hours before 11a.m to practise my comedic scene. It was extremely fun and i hope u all go to other open casting calls in the other states! Even if u don’t get a call back, it is still good for the experience and if you like acting and being the center of attention as i do u will be thrilled. The key is to make a reservation at the hotel the casting call will be at. Then u will reach on time and it will be hassle free. Thank you so much hollywood mom for all the information that you have given me. I am so grateful for ur support. Please continue doing a great job of helping young actors who have a dream. Thank u so much!

It varies but I’ve heard 10-15% for managers. Agents take a percentage of about 10% as well.

  38. Hollywood Mom

    19. Feb, 2010

They say they will not see anyone under the age of 12, but there will be several auditions in many locations throughout the year. Perhaps you could attend one of the other locales’ auditions after you turn 12.

I can’t say what the casting director’s would do, but it’s typical that you get one shot at an audition so try and work on some relaxation techniques prior to the big day.
